Quality, Not Quantity

One Year Health Guarantee

All of our puppies come with a written guarantee that protects against any life-threatening genetics, which must be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian.

This dog is guaranteed to be in good health, to the best of my knowledge at the time of this sale, and has had initial inoculations against distemper, hepatitis, para/parvo virus and received a minimum of 3 worming treatments.

This dog is guaranteed to one year of age (12 months), against any severe and or life-threatening congenital heart defect (a defect so extreme that surgery is imminent for survival) within the first year of life.

Should a severe life-threatening heart defect occur, which is clearly hereditary in nature and will seriously affects the dog’s quality of life, you must provide two letters from unrelated licensed veterinarians and provide all medical records within the puppy’s file.

The buyer will provide medical reports confirming the defect(s) and what is recommended for the health of the dog, along with a spay/neuter verification.

We also require a copy of the three (3) day exam results and/or any medical records, as well as proof of active MetLife insurance policy.

The AKC papers will be returned, or registration transferred back to the Sara Carrillo (Breeder).

Once these requirements are met a puppy replacement/refund will be given (breeder’s choice).

The one-time puppy replacement contract must be signed, and the one-time guarantee agreement will be considered fulfilled.

If breeder chooses a puppy replacement, the puppy will be provided when there is an available comparative litter/puppy available.

Release of Records:

To process any health guarantee claim you agree to authorize a full release to Sara Carrillo (Breeder) the entire medical veterinary history/records and reports that exist for your puppy including imaging reports and studies (Radiographs, US, CT, MRI, NM), laboratory result reports, recommended treatment or continued treatment plan from any Veterinary Hospital.

This authorization of full release must be valid for a period of (6) months from the date of authorization, whichever is greater and requires the authorization and permission of Sara Carrillo (Breeder) to contact and communicate directly with any Veterinary Hospital.

Buyer is responsible for any fees incurred by their Veterinary Hospital in relation to this Release of Records stipulation. Failure or refusal to disclose a complete medical history for you puppy when requested may result in the denial of your health guarantee claim(s)
